Hello to you,
I’m glad you’re here.
As a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe each of our bittersweet experiences of being human deserves honoring and that deep healing is achievable. My clinical practice is relational, holistic, prioritizes client goals, and respects the natural adaptivity of the brain and the biological need for connection with self and others. I believe safety within the therapeutic relationship is essential and that simple neurophysiological education helps clients understand their current functioning and innate ability to heal.
As trauma is stored non-verbally, I believe a mind-body approach to healing is necessary for transformative and lasting change. I incorporate IFS, EMDR, polyvagal theory, and mindfulness-based somatic tools to help clients find symptom relief, self-compassion, and life fulfillment. I specialize in working with complex trauma, dissociation, symptoms of anxiety and depression, grief, chronic illness and autoimmune conditions, and with members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
I’m creative, queer-identified, and invested in my own self-understanding and personal growth. I’m deeply honored to be a therapist, and am grateful for the opportunity to create a safe space for my clients to explore how they came to be who they are, and evolve into more integrated versions of themselves.
